I just did a view with an agent, and this is by far the worst experience you can get from a property agent. (72 Alveston Dr. I think her name was Nicola) When asked if she is always so unpleasant to customers, she gives an excuse for being ill. (if you are sick, why are you at work?). I like the house and the area but the agent.... I can't even think of dealing with her ever again.

We don’t normally leave reviews, but felt we just had to, given the terrible experience we had with this letting company. It’s a terribly run business. We had the unfortunate experience of being tenants and Rooftops managed the tenancy. At the very beginning the warning signs were there - the previous tenants warned us how bad they were at fixing any problems, but we just thought they were disgruntled and took no notice. Well what were were told turned out to be true! The house was dirty when we moved in & appliances broken so no checks had been made. If anything stopped working it would always be a battle to get them to sort these issues out. Jan was so difficult to deal with (the previous tenant had warned us about her). She is very curt, has zero empathy and is unprofessional. The other ladies are much nicer and pleasant to deal with, but it’s Jan you have to go through. We could not wait to move into our renovated home. In summary, our tenancy with Rooftops was too stressful - it didn’t need to be. The staff need to be more accountable. We will never ever recommend them to others. There are much better local letting companies and if we had to rent again in the future we would steer clear of any properties connected to rooftops. The only good thing to come out of the tenancy was making really good friends with the neighbours who we still see now!

In my opinion this is the best shop in Middlewich. Its packed with so many great little gifts and the cards are brilliant I always get mine from here . The staff are so pleasant , friendly and helpful plus a great fresh flower selection, well worth a visit.

Arrived to view a house. The agent 'moe' was late...didnt introduce herself as the agent. I had to press her for that. Then told we can't enter the property???? After agreeing to a viewing at said time..i was partly ignored then questioned weirdly again if I was there to view?? (errr yeah) then told I had to wear a mask, when in fact I don't. Very passive aggressive manner from moe throughout. Then when I heard her speil and said bye she said to my 3 Yr old son. 'seeya, wouldn't want to be ya' Overall rude and unprofessional from start to end. Maybe this agent needs to head to the scrap heap. It's 2021, her degrading of potential tenants is totally out of order. Won't be dealing with them again.

I have rented two different places with them and I have mixed feelings. Some of the people working here are awesome, others not, like everywhere else. My main concern though is that once you pay the fee, they basically get into a passive role, you have to press them to get your deposit information, contract, house info, etc. Also they use to mess up with the contracts, things like not adding special requests after being agreed (e.g: allow one pet in the apartment). All this may be due to them not really managing the property, but that doesn’t justify not taking care of what I said above.

Just sold my property through Rooftops, Wilmslow. Professional service from start to finish. Easy efficient service. Very friendly and helpful staff, could not recommend highly enough.
