it's a lovely, quiet piece of nature to walk through with or without a dog. Lake is fenced off to protect it and the bird life. Wear wellingtons or similar. And don't make your own walking trail. Stick to the ones already set. Just enjoy the tranquility in midst of the bustle of Wilmslow

Easy parking and well maintained paths. A nice stroll around the lake with plenty of benches to rest on.

What a disgrace! The lake is completely invisible from the surrounding pathway, impossible to see through the reeds and undergrowth round the lake. Think there were some ducks, coots and the odd moorhen visible in one or two spots but the whole place looks completely neglected and uncared for. Wardens - shame on you!

Lovely peaceful walk round the lake with some little trails branching off plenty of places to sit and rest taking in the scenery.

Beautiful little walk in Sunshine, pleasant dog walkers. Lovely lake with grebe ,mallards and coots all with ducklings 🐥 .Plenty of bird 🎵 song in the woods and moss common. It is where they found Lindow man fossilised in common. Small free carpark approx 40mins from Newton. Mostly flat good access for pram or ♿️ wheelchair user.Plenty of benches to rest and take in the nature around you.Good for your mental health to be in Nature.

Spring is definitely in the air. We’ve got visiting Mandarin ducks, the grebes are nesting and a couple of Canada geese dropped in. The birds are tweeting like mad in the trees and it's just so lovely. Wilmslow Clean Team and Chapel Lane's 'Love the Lane' Bag It & Bin It Campaign volunteers keep it tidy and provide poo bags ‍♀️ 🏻‍♂️ 🏻 🏽‍♀️ 🏼‍♀️

Lovely circular walk, fairly flat and dog friendly (although no bins in the actual park, they are in the car park)

Walked much further than the common. Walked by a fishing lake close by. Beautiful scenery.

We were with wheel chair, the main path circumnavigating the lake is excellent. Even some of the smaller paths were suitable. Particularly liked how many benches are available as we walked round, allowed for a couple of stops to sip coffee from the flask 😊
