Aliya is a wonderful practitioner. Knowledgeable, caring, professional and delivering outstanding results. Since starting treatment with her a little under a year ago, my chronic pain symptoms have significantly reduced and become far more manageable. Her practice offers a very relaxing environment. She is very skillful, able to quickly get to the heart of the matter to ensure her treatment is highly focused and effective. I always look forward to our treatment sessions and would highly recommend her to anyone exploring specialist acupuncture treatment.

Aliya’s acupuncture is amazing - Instant breathing improvement in just one session! My son has been a mouth breather most of his life till age 15. He snored a lot and it affected his sleep, moods and energy levels. He struggled to wake in the morning. Eating with his mouth open wasn't helping his social life either! He began developing dizzy spells. It was worrying. We took him to see Aliya. In just one session his nostrils cleared. Now he eats with mouth closed and isn't dizzy. He immediately said after waking from the session “I've had the best sleep that I can remember”. A bonus surprise is he remembers his dreams for the first time, and even laughs in his sleep. He is happier and healthier now. We feel this one session is positively helping other aspects of his health. Aliya is an exceptional acupuncturist, taking a wholistic approach and using diagnostic tools each visit to assess mental and physiological states. She is calm, highly professional yet thoroughly warm and personally engaging. I first visited her in 2022 and had a few sessions for blocked eustachian tube and ear pains. Last autumn when I was experiencing distressing mental and related physical illnesses I went to her for regular weekly appointments. Her sessions relaxed me enormously and I found relief from some physical symptoms and eventually started to get more relaxed mentally. Aliya has also been kind in pointing to areas of self help. I would highly recommend her.

I was dealing with my menopause with HRT tablets and for 5 years this was working well. In 2023 it suddenly and completely stopped working . I was in a constant hot flush state and was unable to control my mood which became mainly anger and resentment. I also had various aches pains, fatigue and brain fog which made working very challenging . I contacted my doctors with the fear that they may not be able to give me the medication I would need to recover my former balanced state and the appointment was not immediate. I couldn’t function properly, so I needed some help urgently. In the past I have had Acupuncture for ME and it helped restore my energy and sense of wellbeing so I had a look online for a local practitioner and after reading the reviews I booked to see Aliya. This decision was based on an emphasis on Womens problems and the many positive results seen by her clients. On my first visit I was hot, desperate and my list of what needed fixing was long and varied. Aliya was able to determine the course of action that would clear the heat, lessen brain fog, reduce irritability, give me more energy .This is exactly the outcome I got straight after the first session. I have had several session working on flushes which with my new HRT regimen has reduced to one a day and allowed me to "get my life back". I have also been working through the physical and mental issues that accompany menopause and they do change and disappear as they are treated . I am so happy and grateful not to be a hot and irritable water feature and highly recommend Aliyas’ caring and knowledge to help with distressing health issues that may not need medical interventions. I continue to have sessions if and when I think it will help keep me in a balanced and happy state.

I first started seeing Ali in January 2021. I was having problems with sleep and a friend suggested Ali may be able to help. I found her to be very approachable and understanding. Ali spent a long time listening to me, which was healing in itself. My sleep issues seemed to improve a great deal and I became much more relaxed. Much of my soreness around my breasts had also dissipated. At the time we talked about fertility and my desire to have another baby. Again Ali listened and took the time to understand my situation and was reassuring and confident in her approach. I fell pregnant in February 2022. Sadly the pregnancy wasn’t meant to be. Ali was always there for me and spent much of her time texting me and checking in with me during this difficult time. She was a very patient listener. In April 2023 I discovered I was pregnant again. I saw Ali at week 8 in which she gave me some treatment to try and secure the pregnancy and keep it strong. She also did a fantastic job at easing my nauseous feelings that I had been experiencing through the use of specific points. I did experience some blood tinged discharge at around week 10 that frightened me a great deal (particularly having had the miscarriage experience). However Ali reassured me through numerous texts and offered advice- I was on holiday at the time. This communication was invaluable at the time and proved to me what a kind and caring lady she is. I have always been astonished and continue to be by the healing power Ali’s acupuncture sessions bring. Her intuitiveness seems able to focus in on the areas that need attention. The treatments offer such a healing and relaxing result that the sessions I have will continue to be priority for me in order to not only keep my health strong now, but in the future too.

Aliya & I have been on a journey together and I am extremely grateful for her outstanding treatment but also her support I went to Aliya following a miscarriage & then continued to have treatment to support me falling pregnant again. I had been diagnosed with unexplained infertility after 3 years of trying for a baby and was referred for a round of IVF on the NHS. Whilst researching IVF, I'd read that acupuncture could be helpful alongside it, so thought I would give it a go. Alongside unexplained infertility, I had irregular bleeding, crippling periods, headaches and insomnia... which I put down to the stress of infertility. After a Google search and a read of reviews, I decided to book to see Aliya in April 2022. I was sceptical, as acupuncture isn't my usual kind of thing, but honestly, after the first session, I felt positive about being able to conceive for the first time in years and couldn't wait to go back. Aliya has a way of putting you at ease immediately, her knowledge and expertise, alongside her calming manner, positivity and kindness was exactly what I needed. From the acupuncture itself, to recommendations on diet, keeping cool and more, I felt like I was taking control of my body. By May 2022 my periods had improved, I felt much better mentally and physically and by July, I was pregnant naturally, something I never thought would happen. If you'd have said a year ago I would be shouting about acupuncture, I would never have believed you. But I am certain that if it wasn't for Aliya's help and expertise, I wouldn't be where I am now! I have continued to see Aliya throughout my pregnancy, which helped keep my calm throughout the early days, and I'm days away from welcoming our newest addition. I found Aliya on Google in January 2020 with a view to acupuncture for fertility. I had stopped taking my pill approx 6 months prior to this and hadn’t yet fell pregnant. I’m not a fan of needles and was totally new to acupuncture. Aliya carried out a full in-depth history at my first appointment and was extremely professional. She explained everything as we went along and gave some great general health/ fertility tips along the way, I trusted her entirely. I found the treatment very relaxing and Aliya gave me faith! I fell pregnant the next month, after only 2 visits. I then had another treatment for a continued healthy pregnancy. Thankfully I gave birth to our beautiful baby boy in October 2020.
