Great food and service last night. Really attentive waiter who was so lovely and polite and the food was one of the best meals we’ve had for a while. Full of lovely flavours and great menu choices

Lovely lunch with friends, excellent server called Katie. All food was enjoyed, food price not too bad mid to high. We only had mains, no starters or desert. Drinks expensive, but that seems the norm these days. We would have stayed longer for a drink otherwise. It was all lovely 👌 Vegetarian options: I had the vegan Sunday dinner and was very tasty. Dined at the new Browns restaurant in Wilmslow with my family and we were blown away at our experience. I’m not one to usually leave reviews but on this occasion I couldn’t not. We arrived half an hour early and had drinks in the bar which was lovely. Spacious and inviting and the outdoor garden is exactly what Wilmslow needed. We then moved to our table and were served by Lydia who was brilliant. She couldn’t have done more for us. Also so great to see Chloe! She has looked after us in restaurants in Alderley Edge for years and always makes us feel so special. She’s a real credit to the Browns team. Food was great and my sister was amazed at how many gluten free options were available. We will definitely be back. Thank you Chloe, Lydia and the rest of the team!

Very welcoming from the second we walked in. We were shown straight to our table and told that India would be with us very soon. India was really lovely and smiley. Very helpful and fantastic service. Food was wonderful quality and perfectly cooked.

Food was incredibly tasty, however some of the portions are too small for the cost (see ungenerous ice cream scoop on top of the brownie). Probably wouldn't recommend it if you are hungry... I finished the Pan fried chicken main 10 minutes before the others at the table, menu said it included sweet potato but there were 3 tiny pieces. Staff were really lovely and atmosphere good though.

From arrival to departure, nothing was too much trouble for the staff at Miller & Carter. We actually arrived rather early for our booking for my birthday, not a problem. We were met by smiling attentive staff and manager, shown straight to our table, and served our first drinks very swiftly whilst perusing the menu. They have very knowledgeable servers, we chose the Chateaubriand, cooked to perfection, my included photo doesn't do it justice, sadly it didn't say intact for long as it was so gorgeous, the beef dripping sauce that had been recommended was absolutely fabulous! I dine out often in the UK and overseas, and to be fair, I tend not to choose chain restaurants, Miller and Carter Wilmslow have made me reevaluate that position. If the rest of their venues meet this overall package, SIGN ME UP! So refreshing to see a well motivated and enthusiastic young front of house team. As the owner of a small business, the good management and training shone through with every aspect of engagement with their customers. It felt like I was a regular, returning to see long-established friends. Later the bar served us top-notch cocktails, and I did appreciate the happy birthday dessert at the end. Ten out of ten. Hope to join you again soon.

Riquísimo!! Amazing food and excellent service. We had a share board which was perfect for 2 people. Also, Cathy made of our first time at Miller & Carter an wonderful experience. She explained the menu very well and looked after us providing us an outstanding customer service, very kind and professional. Definitely will come back!

Been to Miller & Carter numerous times over the years, but never left a review! Decided on a whim last night to go as couldn’t be bothered cooking! Love the Wilmslow branch in the old rectory! They have a good deal menu on at the moment, however we chose the normal! We got prawn cocktail for starters, fillet and rib eye for mains, then the sharing desert! Our waitress and the manager, Emma was lovely!

5 stars. Our server Marc was excellent, making suggestions and checking up to make sure everything was OK. The steak was excellent and cooked brilliantly. Cheesecake was simply delicious. If you love steak then you really can't go wrong here. Easy to find, plenty of parking and comfortable stylish surroundings. Recommended.
