Having eaten here many times in the past my visit on Sunday 11/8 was a bit disappointing. The veggie wellington didn't have any beetroot in it and the roast potatoes were well below par, so much so that we were given some mash instead. They didn't seem freshly cooked even though we were there at 12.30. I've given 3 stars based on other meals I've had there but won't have another Sunday roast - unless they start a carvery! Staff were brilliant. Vegetarian options: Pretty standard number of options, nothing particularly inventive.

Stayed overnight around the back in the rooms. Spacious, recently redecorated and clean. Can definitely recommend :) And walking distance to Wilmslow

We had a Sunday roast which was so disappointing. It came out 1 minute after we ordered it and it was not even warm. The one skinny piece of ham was so dry. The chef should be ashamed to serve that to people who are paying for some decent food! Not good enough!

What a lovely place... stopped off for a few hot nibbles and a cold drink. Excellent service, delicious food. I will definitely go back when I'm in the area again.

Lovely Hydes pub with a great choice of Hydes beers which are always on top form. Great staff, always courteous and friendly. Always clean and tidy. Not tried the food, but judging by everything else, I'm sure it's excellent. Well worth seeking out if visiting Wilmslow.

Coach & Four is a great local pub offering an excellent Sunday roast. The Sunday Roast platter for 2 contains generous slices of tender roasted meats, and all the trimmings like Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, fresh vegetables and flavorful gravy - enough food for three people, making it a superb value. Highly recommended for a satisfying Sunday meal. Other pub classics on the menu are also of good quality and tasty, making Coach & Four a good choice to enjoy a few drinks paired with delicious pub food in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

We all enjoyed a lovely meal here, everything cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. Lots of choice on the menu although vegetarian choices a little limited and a few dishes not available. Staff and service were very good and toilets very clean. The decor and atmosphere was interesting and welcoming. Will definitely eat here again. 5*

Starter: Baked Camembert to share. Main: Hubby said: Lamb Rump and sauce was delicious. I chose to have the Chicken Supreme on a bed of creamed Leeks and Crushed New Potatoes which was absolutely gorgeous! Dessert: Crumble and custard & Profiteroles. Overall a lovely meal with incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended!
